Post Approval and/or Suspension (Explained)
Purpose
As the group grows and the amount of daily posts increase it has become necessary to moderate posts that weren't an issue then but need to be addressed now.
Please understand that if we remove your post/comment and it's because it's in violation with our guidelines.
Some group members will find themselves on post approval or temporarily suspended.
This typically means that we have already reminded the member of the group rules and they have continued to post against them.
They may be doing it to push the rules or they may just simply not be entirely clear on what the rules are.
It is often also due to the moderation team having to continually delete your comments or remind you what's okay or not.
Members on post approval should review the guidelines and submit posts that comply with them. The moderating team will then preview the post before it goes to the group.
If the member has gotten a better understanding of how to follow the group rules, their post-approval requirement will be turned off.
If you find yourself suspended that means you are not only restricted from posting but you are restricted from engaging with the group as well.
This means the moderator team finds it difficult to maintain the integrity of the group when members continually violate our guidelines.
Please know that a great member of the group understands the rules, follows them, and doesn't need any moderating on their profile.
The reason for the suspension could be that you are not appropriate in your comments, you are still promoting yourself in comments and posts, or you're simply disregarding the purpose of the group.
Post approval and suspension is how the moderating team gives an additional chance for a member to do better before just removing them, it means we want you here and value you! But also want you to spend a little time understanding what posts work and what doesn't.
The moderation team is continually refining the group standards to maintin the integrity and value of the group.
Please take some time to look over the other rules and do a quick audit of what you have been posting in the group before making another post.
